Create an Account and Get Started with StageReturn

This guide explains the first steps to using StageReturn: create your account, verify your email address, create your company, or join an existing company.

In This Guide

  • Create a User Account
  • Verify Your Email Address
  • Create Your Company
  • Join a Company with an Invitation Code
  • Understand the StageReturn Structure

1. Create Your Account

When launching StageReturn for the first time, create your account using your email address. This account gives you access to your company, warehouses, projects, repairs, and reports.

Example : A service manager creates an account using their professional email address to centralize all equipment returns and incidents within StageReturn.

2. Verify Your Email Address

After registration, StageReturn requires email verification. This step secures your account and ensures that you are the owner of the email address used.

Example : After creating your account, you receive a confirmation email. Click the link provided, then return to the application to continue the setup process.

3. Create Your Company

If you are the first user in your organization, you can create your company. This company becomes the main workspace where your warehouses, users, projects, evidence records, repairs, and reports are managed.

Example : An equipment rental company creates its StageReturn workspace to track defects, missing equipment, and repairs from returned equipment.

4. Join an Existing Company

If your company already uses StageReturn, there is no need to create a new one. An administrator can provide you with an invitation code to join the existing workspace.

Example : A technician receives an invitation code from their manager. After entering it in the application, they immediately join the company and gain access only to the features they are authorized to use.

5. Understanding the StageReturn Structure

StageReturn is organized around a simple structure: a company contains one or more warehouses, each warehouse contains projects, and each project can contain defects, pre-departure evidence, missing equipment, sub-rentals, and repairs.

Example : Example: A company operates one warehouse in Rennes and another in Paris. Each team can be restricted to its own warehouse to maintain a clear organization and reduce handling errors.

6. What's Next?

Once your company has been created or joined, the next step is usually to create your first warehouses and start tracking your projects and equipment.

Example : After creating the company, a manager creates a main warehouse, invites team members, and begins recording the first projects.
